Perfumes with Strawberry
Strawberry smells juicy, sweet and slightly jammy, with a green, fresh-picked edge; in perfume it usually reads as playful and youthful, close to sweets or a fruit dessert.
No usable natural oil can be extracted from strawberries, so the note is built from synthetics such as furaneol, so-called strawberry aldehyde and assorted fruity esters. Depending on the blend, it can lean towards fresh fruit, jam or bubblegum. Strawberry is mostly a top note that carries into the heart. It is often paired with vanilla, praline, rose, peony, raspberry and white musks.
