Perfumes with Raspberry
Raspberry smells sweet, tart, juicy and slightly floral, a red fruit note that recalls fresh raspberry jam with a subtle hint of violet hidden inside. There is no usable natural raspberry extract, so the note is constructed with synthetic molecules.
Its core includes raspberry ketone along with ionones, the same family of molecules found in violet. Raspberry usually appears as a top note and sometimes in the heart, adding vivid sweetness to the opening. It pairs well with rose, violet, pink pepper, patchouli, vanilla, musk and other red berries.
