Perfumes with Green Apple
Green apple smells tart, crisp and juicy, with a leafy freshness that gives a fragrance a bright, clean and energetic opening, not far from a fresh shampoo.
Apples yield no usable perfume oil, so the note is built from synthetic fruity molecules such as hexyl acetate, Manzanate and various esters. Compared with red apple it is less sweet, sharper and greener. Green apple is almost always a top note. It is often paired with bergamot, lemon, melon, mint, freesia, marine notes and white musks, and is a staple of fresh, sporty compositions.
Green Apple appears in 1,579 perfumes in the Fisfis catalogue and is used mostly as a top note.
