Perfumes with Yuzu

Yuzu smells tart, bright and aromatic, somewhere between grapefruit and mandarin with a faint floral nuance, giving a fragrance a sharp, clean and sparkling opening.

The peel of Citrus junos, grown widely in Japan and Korea, is cold-pressed or distilled to obtain the oil; because it is costly, it is often supported by synthetic citrus molecules. It is less harsh than lemon, combining peel bitterness with a mandarin-like sweetness. Yuzu sits mainly in the top of a fragrance. It pairs with green tea, ginger, bergamot, neroli, lotus and musks.

Yuzu appears in 1,163 perfumes in the Fisfis catalogue and is used mostly as a top note.
