Perfumes with Suede
Suede smells soft, velvety and lightly powdery: a leather note without the smoke and tar, cleaner and closer to warm skin or a fine glove.
It is not a single raw material but an accord, usually built from synthetics such as Suederal together with quinolines, orris, saffranal and musks. The result is warm and supple, sometimes with a faint apricot or powder nuance. Suede sits mostly in the base of a fragrance and often appears in the heart. It pairs with orris, violet, saffron, musk, vanilla and raspberry.
