Perfumes with praline
Praline smells sweet, warm, creamy and lightly burnt, a gourmand note that recalls roasted hazelnuts and almonds coated in caramelised sugar, like the inviting air of a confectioner's shop. There is no natural praline extract; the note is an accord built from synthetic molecules.
Its core typically includes caramel-like maltol derivatives, pyrazines that bring roasted nutty tones, and vanilla. Praline mostly sits in the base, often in the heart as well. It pairs well with vanilla, caramel, tonka bean, coffee, patchouli, iris, orange blossom and musk.
