Perfumes with Pineapple
Pineapple smells sweet, juicy, tangy and tropical, recalling the sugary juice of a freshly cut ripe pineapple along with its slightly sharp, fizzy brightness. There is no usable natural pineapple extract, so the note is built with synthetic molecules.
Its core includes fruity esters such as allyl caproate, which give pineapple both sweetness and a faint green edge. Pineapple sits mostly among the top notes, lighting up the opening. It pairs well with bergamot, black currant, apple, birch, patchouli, musk and oakmoss, and it often appears in fruity woody compositions.
