Perfumes with Peach

Peach smells sweet, juicy, velvety and slightly creamy, recalling the fuzzy skin of a ripe peach and its soft, milky warmth. There is no usable natural peach extract, so the note is built with synthetic molecules.

Its core is a lactone called gamma-undecalactone, often known as aldehyde C-14, which has been used in floral perfumes since the early twentieth century. Peach usually appears as a top note and frequently extends into the heart. It pairs well with rose, jasmine, osmanthus, peony, musk, vanilla and oakmoss, and it softens both floral and chypre compositions.

Peach appears in 7,444 perfumes in the Fisfis catalogue and is used mostly as a top note.
