Perfumes with Orange
Orange smells sweet, juicy, cheerful and sunny, carrying the bright, soft and slightly sugary freshness released when you peel a ripe sweet orange. It comes from the peel of Citrus sinensis, produced mainly in Brazil, the United States and Mediterranean countries.
The oil is obtained by cold-pressing the rind. It is less sour than lemon and more pronounced than mandarin. Because it evaporates quickly, orange sits mostly among the top notes. It pairs well with bergamot, orange blossom, cinnamon, clove, vanilla, jasmine and cedar, and it suits both fresh and warm spicy compositions.
