Perfumes with Mango
Mango smells sweet, juicy and exotic with a faintly resinous, peel-like edge, giving a fragrance a sunny, tropical and cheerful fruit effect.
Mango yields no usable perfume oil, so the note is built from synthetic materials: lactones, sulphur-containing trace compounds and various esters. Some interpretations also capture the slightly turpentine-like green facet of the real fruit's skin. Mango sits mainly in the top of a fragrance and often in the heart. It pairs with passionfruit, coconut, pineapple, frangipani, vanilla, citrus and musks.
