Perfumes with lily
Lily smells rich, sweet, slightly spicy and creamy, a powerful floral that combines the clove-like spice of large white lilies with a faint honeyed tone. There is no usable natural extract from Lilium species, so the note is built with synthetic molecules.
Perfumers recreate the lily accord with floral molecules, spicy materials such as eugenol and touches of green. The result can be fresh and dewy or heady and opulent. Lily sits almost always in the heart of a fragrance. It pairs well with jasmine, tuberose, rose, lily of the valley, clove, vanilla and musk.
lily appears in 2,823 perfumes in the Fisfis catalogue and is used mostly as a heart note.
