Perfumes with Jasmine

Jasmine smells rich, sweet and honeyed, a white floral with a fruity facet and an indolic, slightly animalic warmth underneath. Perfumery mainly uses Jasminum grandiflorum and Jasminum sambac, grown in India, Egypt and the Grasse area of France.

The flowers are picked at night or early morning and processed by solvent extraction into an absolute. The result is warm, radiant and full-bodied. Jasmine sits almost always in the heart of a fragrance, where it adds volume and sensuality. It pairs well with rose, orange blossom, tuberose, sandalwood, musk, vanilla and bergamot.

Jasmine appears in 31,411 perfumes in the Fisfis catalogue and is used mostly as a heart note.
