Perfumes with Fruity Notes
Fruity notes are a general term for a blend of sweet, juicy and tangy fruit scents used when no specific fruit is named, giving a fragrance a youthful, cheerful and vivid character. The term usually covers fruits other than citrus.
The effect is mostly built from fruity esters, lactones and other synthetic molecules, and facets of peach, pear, apple or red berries may come forward. Fruity notes usually sit in the top and heart of a fragrance. They pair well with rose, peony, freesia, jasmine, vanilla, musk and patchouli, and they form the basis of fruity floral compositions.
Fruity Notes appears in 2,309 perfumes in the Fisfis catalogue and is used mostly as a heart note.
