Perfumes with Hazelnut
Hazelnut smells warm, buttery and sweet with a toasted, slightly woody and creamy character, giving a fragrance a soft gourmand depth reminiscent of praline and nut spreads.
Hazelnuts yield no usable perfume extract, so the note is built from roasted, nutty synthetics such as filbertone and various pyrazines. The result is closer to toasted nuts and praline desserts than to raw hazelnut. It appears roughly equally in the top and heart of a fragrance. It pairs with chocolate, cacao, coffee, vanilla, tonka, caramel and woods.
