Papatya notası olan parfümler
Papatya notası, kurutulmuş papatya çiçeklerinin otsu, ballı, elmamsı ve hafif tütün tonlu kokusudur; parfüme sıcak, sakin ve hafif aromatik bir yumuşaklık katar.
Parfümcülükte iki tür öne çıkar: Roma papatyası, yani Chamaemelum nobile, ve Alman papatyası, yani Matricaria chamomilla. Çiçekler buhar damıtmasıyla uçucu yağa işlenir; Alman papatyası yağı kamazulen nedeniyle mavi renklidir. Kokusu bitki çayı, kuru ot ve bal izlenimi verir. Ağırlıkla orta notada, sıkça üst notada yer alır. Lavanta, bal, tütün, kuru ot, ölmez çiçek ve vanilyayla uyumludur.
